St ignatius University (IGUKA) to launch an assembly of promoters

St ignatius University (IGUKA) to launch an assembly of promoters this Saturday to enhance resource mobilisation and drive the growth of the University through various patnerships that will set the University to a fully self sustaining entity.
The University Vice Chancellor Assoc Prof. Fr Maximiano Ngabirano emphasised the need to have courses that empower students to solve the difficult societal questions that include Disease, unemployment, hunger, livelihood, and poverty among others.
The move to have an independent Assembly of promoters will among other strategies provide advisory expertise, promote visibility, mobilise resources, promote teaching, research among other activities.
According to prof Nazarius Mbona the Chairperson University Council highlighted that no University can survive on tuition only including the traditional universities and therefore the University assembly of promoters is paramount in out sourcing and attracting students to benefit from the University.
