IGUKA Management and Staff gathered on 3rd July 2026, for
Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor
The Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs) oversees the core pillars of
IGUKA’s educational mission.
The DVC(AA) provides executive oversight and strategic
direction for:
- Academic Policy and Quality Assurance: Ensuring total alignment of all programs with national standards and institutional frameworks.
- Curriculum Transformation: Driving the implementation of competence-based
curricula across all faculties to meet contemporary workforce and societal needs. - Institutional Restructuring: Directly supervising key growth divisions including the Quality Assurance Officer (QAO) and the Community Engagement and Experiential Learning (CEEL) Unit.
- Academic Registrations & Standards: Collaborating closely with the Office of the Academic Registrar and Department Heads to enforce rigorous monitoring of staff and student attendance, marks management, and internal moderation systems.
