The Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs) oversees the core pillars of
IGUKA’s educational mission.

The DVC(AA) provides executive oversight and strategic
direction for:

  1. Academic Policy and Quality Assurance: Ensuring total alignment of all programs with national standards and institutional frameworks.
  2. Curriculum Transformation: Driving the implementation of competence-based
    curricula across all faculties to meet contemporary workforce and societal needs.
  3. Institutional Restructuring: Directly supervising key growth divisions including the Quality Assurance Officer (QAO) and the Community Engagement and Experiential Learning (CEEL) Unit.
  4. Academic Registrations & Standards: Collaborating closely with the Office of the Academic Registrar and Department Heads to enforce rigorous monitoring of staff and student attendance, marks management, and internal moderation systems.
