Today, 20th November 2025, Macro Hardware Ltd. has donated 15 metallic compound seats to St. Ignatius University Kabale (IGUKA). The handover was confirmed by Mr. Joram Bwambare, Director of Macro Hardware Kabale Ltd., who emphasized the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community support.
“At Macro Hardware we believe it is our responsibility to give back to society, especially to developing institutions like IGUKA that are shaping the future of our youth,” Bwambare said.
Vice Chancellor Fr. Prof. Maximiano Ngabirano received the seats with gratitude, noting that the new furniture will provide students with a more conducive environment for discussion, innovation and relaxation.
“The compound seats directly address a challenge we have faced for some time. They will enhance the learning atmosphere and foster greater interaction among our students,” he remarked.
The donation is part of a broader partnership between Macro Hardware and IGUKA. The company will also deliver a complete football
uniform set including jerseys, shorts, socks, shoes and a coach’s kit to the university’s sports grounds on 30 November 2025 at 4:00 p.m. The gesture aims to boost the university’s sports programme and encourage teamwork on campus.
