The Assembly comprises of 400 esteemed individuals from diverse sectors, including business, agriculture, education, and politics, united in their commitment to advancing the university’s development.
During the inauguration, over UGX 125 million was collected in cash and pledges, showcasing the community’s unwavering support for the institution. Chairperson of the organizing committee, Norbert Kagoro, highlighted the significance of these funds in bolstering the university’s operations and development, emphasizing the challenges of relying solely on tuition fees.
The university plans to establish prosperity programs, enhancing its global standing and promoting inclusive growth. This initiative includes offering scholarships to students from low-income families, ensuring access to quality education for talented individuals regardless of financial background.
